Hotels, Chalets and Apartments

Courmayeur lacks a really classy hotel, like the Hermitage in Cervinia, or the Breithorn in Champoluc - and generally the style of interior decor is functional rather than characterful. But the service is usually friendly and helpful, and they welcome bookings for a weekend as well as a week.

Just come back from a long weekend in Courmayeur - absolutely awesome!! 2ft of powder last week, no-one on the slopes except for a few on Sunday, glorious sunshine, cheap and fantastically friendly Italians - why did I always used to go to France?!?!?!

OK, so not an enourmous ski area, but great for a long weekend and able to ski another resort just 15 mins up the road.

Highly recommended!!
